Michael Owen attended the Spey Whisky Fan Forum in Taiwan today as part of his current Spey Whisky promotional tour. Owen gave hundreds of fans the chance to meet him in Taipei to make up for not having a chance to stop and meet fans whilst in Shanghai on Monday.
Owen happily signed items for fans, posed for pictures as well as taking part in a Q&A session. Michael has a very large fan base in Asia and has made a point of visiting the continent regularly since retiring from professional football in May 2013. Many of his current commercial engagements (Spey Whisky, Kent & Curwen and SoccerWorld) have a large brand following in Asia which has made their pairing with Owen a popular choice as a brand ambassador.
Michael Owen was last in China in January for Kent & Curwen and December for Spey to launch his 2 new limited edition whisky expressions, Michael Owen 1412 and Golden Choice.
