Michael Owen Confirmed For UNICEF Charity Match At Old Trafford

It has been confirmed this week that Michael Owen will be taking part in the ‘Match For Children’ Charity match at Old Trafford on the 14th November.

Owen will be part of the GB and Ireland team which will be captained by former United star, David Beckham and managed by former Manchester United manager, Sir Alex Ferguson.

Manchester United have a long history in supporting the charity and this year they have decided to stage a ‘legends’ match to raise money for the children’s charity.

Alongside Owen and Beckham, a host of other former and current legends have been added to the team list, full list of confirmed legends are:
