Michael Owen has signed a £1m deal with the retailer to front a new campaign, which will was launched in the run-up to Euro 2004. Owen appeared as an ambassador for the men’s clothing wear giant for 2 seasonal campaigns, Spring / Summer and Autumn / Winter in 2004. Michael’s line of clothing ranged from T-shirts to 2 piece suits. Owen had been consulted on the designs, which he added his own personal mark to. Garmets appeared with a number ’10′ (his shirt number for England and Liverpool) and ‘Bomber’ which was the name of their family dog.
A spokesman for Burton said: “Michael is perfect for the brand. Girls think he is cute. Boys think he’s a star player and will follow his style.”
